Meet Abiba Issaka, SoapMaker
A little about AbibaASAP met Abiba and her family on our 2015 mission trip to Ghana Africa. Abiba is the mother of 6 children, 4 of whom still live with her. She supports her children and disabled husband on the equivalent of $10 a month by making and selling her African Black Soap.
ASAP decided to help support Abiba and her family by purchasing a large quatity of her soap at well above her market price. We brought her wonderful soap back to the US as gifts for a small donation to ASAP. Donations then go directly into our projects to purchase medications and supplies for our mobile healthcare mission trips to help families like Abiba's in Ghana. |
